At Ifamax Wealth Management, we believe good financial planning is about more than numbers, charts, and long-term projections.

It’s about people.

That belief shapes how we advise our clients, and it also influences the businesses we choose to work with day-to-day. Wherever possible, we actively support local Bristol businesses that share our values around quality, care, and sustainability.

Below are a few of the Bristol-based suppliers we work with and why they matter to us.

Visiting Ifamax Wealth Management

When clients visit our Bristol office, we want the space to feel calm, welcoming, and human, not clinical or transactional.

That’s why you’ll notice the house plants throughout our office. They soften the environment and help create a space where people feel more relaxed when discussing important financial decisions.

We work with Bristol Plant Man, a local Bristol supplier who helps bring our workspace to life.

Their plants help reflect what we aim to deliver as financial planners: a steady, well-looked-after environment designed for the long term.

Birthday Chocolates for Clients

We like to mark our clients’ birthdays with a small but thoughtful gesture.

Each year, we send birthday chocolates from an independent Bristol chocolatier that produces ethically sourced chocolate.

Ruby Hue uses cacao from Peru, Thailand, Guatemala, and Uganda, working with suppliers who focus on sustainability and fairness, values that closely align with our own approach to wealth management and long-term planning.

It’s a simple reminder that financial planning doesn’t have to feel impersonal.

Drinks in the Office

We keep things simple and welcoming.

Alongside a good selection of teas and coffees, we also offer beers from Wiper and True and wines from Averys Wine, two Bristol businesses we genuinely enjoy supporting.

Wiper and True

Wiper and True’s story began, quite literally, with an apple tree. What started as a plan to make cider evolved into brewing beer while the orchard matured. Those early homebrews were well received, particularly by people who didn’t usually enjoy beer, and the encouragement to keep experimenting quickly turned into something more serious.

A moment of quiet affirmation (“that’s a beautiful beer”) became the catalyst for turning a passion into a business. Today, Wiper and True are known for their thoughtful approach, balance, and quality values we admire and recognise.

Averys Wines

Averys Wines has been part of Bristol’s story since 1793. Under Ronald Avery in the 1920s, the business developed a pioneering approach, travelling widely to build personal relationships with winemakers, something that still defines Averys today.

From being the first to list Petrus to introducing cult Californian, Australian, and New Zealand wines to the UK, each generation has pushed boundaries while staying true to the craft. Now led by the fifth generation, Averys continues that tradition, seeking out exceptional wines and sharing them with care and knowledge.

For us, offering drinks from local businesses like these is a small but intentional detail. It reflects how we like to do things: considered, personal, and rooted in the community we’re part of.

Why This Matters to Us

Financial planning is ultimately about people’s lives, their families, their work, their ambitions, and their future.

By supporting local Bristol businesses, we aim to:

  • Keep our relationships human and personal

  • Support the local economy we are part of

  • Reflect our belief in thoughtful, long-term decision-making

It’s a small part of what makes Ifamax Wealth Management a little different, in a positive way.
